Down with the Uniformity

Well here it is, my first blog.

About a week ago, I decided I wanted to express my thoughts so that all my friends and family could see what was going on in this hectic mind of mine. I didn't know how I wanted to go about doing this. I could be like everyone else in my generation, and just rant off on Facebook and Twitter. Maybe I could start making videos and start Vloging (Video Blog). There were so many outlets for me to express myself, I started to have trouble deciding which one to use! It wasn't until I read a blog post by Haleigh Zorn, on her blog A Mosaic Soul, that I truly received an inspiration on how I should go about doing this. (Link to her work at the end of this post). SO SHOUT OUT TO HALEIGH

So why the title, Multiformity? What even is Multiformity?

Let's start off by informing what it is not. It is not Uniformity. It is not consistent. It is not regularity. It is not homogeneity (had to look that one up)

Multiformity by definition is: The state of having many forms or kinds.

I started constructing this blog with one idea in mind: to inform and update the readers about my move to South Africa. Then I realized, I have so much more to offer. So much more to express. So much more cramped inside this cranium of mine. Why just post about one passion of mine, when I have multiple passions? Why be uniform when I can be multiform? (that last line sounds like something from a retro 80s cartoon, sorry)

All of our lives we are taught to be uniform; to stray away from chaos, but there is something beautiful in the mess we call life. Sure sitting down and getting a menu is nice, but everyone loves a buffet!

Human beings are multiform not uniform. We come in so many shapes, sizes, and colors. We are so individually unique. Like marbles! It is a part of God's amazing, artistic hand. He made us with a sense of multiformity. For this same reason, I find that it is my duty to express my multiformity via this blog.

This blog will come in many different shapes and sizes. One post may be about Africa, and another about politics. One may be long, one may be short. There is no system to this blog. Hopefully my words will flow in perfect chaos. You, as a reader, may not appreciate this structure, and thats fine. That is your unique opinion; a part of your multiformity.

So here goes nothing! Stay posted! And have a BLESSED life!
